Hydraulic hose is the flexible connecting element that carries fluid through the system without losing pressure. Selecting the right hose depends on three values: working pressure, fluid temperature, and inner diameter. Getting any one of these wrong leads to premature hose fatigue or a risk of rupture.
Hidroteknik stocks 1SN and 2SN single/double-wire-braided hose, 4SP and 4SH multi-spiral hose, and thermoplastic hose types at its warehouse in Denizli. Hose crimping is done in-house; standard sizes are generally delivered the same day.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 1SN and 2SN hose?
1SN has a single steel wire braid and is intended for medium-pressure applications. 2SN has a double wire braid and withstands roughly twice the working pressure at the same inner diameter. At the same size, 2SN has a larger outer diameter and bend radius; this should be taken into account in tight installations.
How is hydraulic hose size determined?
Size is specified by the hose's inner diameter (for example DN12, 1/2 inch). Flow rate and inner diameter together determine flow velocity; pressure lines are generally kept in the 3-6 m/s range. If the inner diameter is chosen too small, pressure loss and heating increase.
Is hose crimping done the same day?
For standard size and fitting combinations, crimping is generally completed the same day. Turnaround varies for jobs requiring custom lengths, special fittings, or out-of-stock types; contact our sales team for exact timing.
What is the service life of a hydraulic hose?
Hose service life depends on working pressure, temperature, bend radius, and vibration. Periodic inspection is recommended for lines that run continuously at maximum pressure. Cracking, blistering, or exposed wire on the outer cover indicates the hose needs to be replaced.
