The Gamak group consists of the electric motors that drive hydraulic power units. All of the stock is 1500 rpm (4-pole) with a B35 frame — that is, both footed and flanged, so it bolts directly to the pump adaptor.
380 V three-phase models run from 0.37 kW to 22 kW; 220 V single-phase models from 0.37 kW to 3 kW. Where a three-phase supply is available, 380 V is preferred: at the same power it gives a smaller frame, higher starting torque and better efficiency.
Motor power is calculated from the pump: power (kW) ≈ pressure (bar) × flow (l/min) ÷ 600. The next standard size above the result is chosen.
