The full pressure-measurement range: 212 gauges — Ø40/63/100 dials, from 0-1 bar to 0-600 bar, in dry, glycerine-filled, diaphragm, vacuum and contact types.
Pakkens accounts for almost the whole of our pressure gauge group. With three dial sizes (Ø40, Ø63, Ø100) and combinations of bottom and rear connection, dry and glycerine-filled cases, it covers nearly every hydraulic and pneumatic application.
Alongside the standard Bourdon-tube types there are two special groups. Diaphragm gauges measure in millibars rather than bar and are used on ventilation, filter contamination and low-pressure process lines. Contact (NCNO) types close an electrical contact when a set pressure is reached, so they can stop a pump or raise an alarm.
A glycerine-filled case damps needle flutter on pulsating lines and protects the movement; on pump outlets and in mobile hydraulics it is effectively mandatory.
