Industrial and Special-Purpose Hose
Water, hot water, suction, fuel, spraying and washdown hose; transparent spiral-reinforced suction lines.
This group covers the hoses outside the hydraulic circuit. A hydraulic hose is chosen by pressure; here what matters is the fluid carried and the temperature. Fuel hose needs an inner tube that resists the fuel, hot-water hose a temperature limit, spraying hose chemical resistance.
Transparent spiral-reinforced hose is used on suction lines: the rigid helix stops the hose collapsing on itself under vacuum. Being transparent lets you see what is passing through, which is why it is preferred in food, agriculture and waste transfer.

What is the difference between Forcestream, Seltex, and Ultimate?
All three are single/double-braided medium-pressure hydraulic hose lines and can be used interchangeably within the same pressure classes (R1AT/1SN, R2AT/2SN). The difference between them is the manufacturer line — the technical class is the same; whichever is in stock is shipped, and substitution causes no issue as long as size and pressure class match.
Why are Sel hoses on a separate page?
Sel is a code family that groups both hydraulic pressure lines and general-purpose hoses — such as washing, spraying, and fuel — under the same code. Since this mixed structure would disrupt the scope of the hydraulic hose and pneumatic hose pages, it is listed on its own page.
What sizing information is needed for non-pressure hoses (water, spraying, washing)?
Inner diameter (usually in inches: 3/8, 1/2, 3/4) and length are sufficient. For lines carrying chemicals (spraying, fuel), specify the substance being carried; the inner lining material varies accordingly.
What are spiral wrap guards and hose end fittings?
A spiral wrap guard is a polyethylene wrap that covers the hose on the outside to protect it against abrasion and scuffing; it is not the hose itself. The hose end fitting is the hard plastic/metal coupling body fitted onto the hose end. Both are sold as separate stock items and can also be ordered together with the hose.
